The Academy of Technical and Educational Vocational Studies – Niš Department (ATVSS – Niš Department), formerly known as the College of Applied Technical Studies in Niš, is a prestigious higher education institution with a 47-year-long tradition in higher education. As part of the higher education reform, ATVSS – Niš Department became an accredited, independent public institution in 2007. It offers undergraduate and master's vocational studies (first and second levels of higher education) in the field of technical and technological sciences.

All study programs, both at the undergraduate and master's levels, are accredited, developed according to the principles of the Bologna Declaration, and aligned with the provisions of the Law on Higher Education. By conducting self-evaluation, ATVSS – Niš Department strives for continuous improvement of the teaching process through its quality policy, thereby achieving a better study experience.
