"Global Partnerships for Sustainable Development: Building a Better Tomorrow"

In 1974, the College for Worker Education in Vranje was established to provide skilled personnel necessary for the developing economy of Vranje and the region. In 1987, the College for Worker Education was transformed into the Higher Technical and Technological School, introducing new departments and programs to align with the workforce needs of the economy at that time.
To align with the European education system, as our country is a signatory of the Bologna Declaration, the school transitioned to a three-year study program in 2002. In September 2005, the Law on Higher Education was adopted, transforming all Colleges into Colleges of Applied Studies. Following this, in the 2007/08 academic year, the school began educating students in accordance with the provisions of the Bologna Declaration.

In addition to a teaching staff predominantly consisting of PhD holders, the school has ample facilities where students attend lectures, work on computers, and gain practical experience in laboratories and workshops. The school has ensured access to appropriate professional literature, which students can use in the library or purchase for use outside the school. Thanks to longstanding and strong partnerships with businesses in Vranje and the Pčinja region, our students have the opportunity to enhance their practical knowledge at companies such as Simpo, Alfa, Zavarič, BAT, Velichković Dairy, Živinoprodukt, Crveni Krst Bakery, Boja Hleba Bakery, Mita d.o.o., Žitomelj, Coca-Cola, Bivoda, Heba, Bread and Milk Factory Vranje, Navip, Sloga, Vihor, Nectar, Kondiva, and other enterprises.
